This year, we’ve used our class website for many different activities and purposes. In a comment, respond to some of the following questions.

I like that you get to get to have class discutions

An improvement I have for Jonmoss`s class website is that I think you should put up some fun games for students to play whenever.

I think that seeing other people’s ideas and comments were helpful because we could see what other people had to say. Commenting on other people’s ideas are a good idea because you get a chance to tell them what they might want to include and if they are missing an important piece of information.
The activities that I enjoy a lot would probably be this. I enjoy this because you get to talk with your classmates about problems and get to hear what their thoughts are. I don’t really think you need to improve anything on this website to be honest.

I like the games and the discussions that are going on. In the diccussions I like to see the other students opinions. The school games are helpful.

What I liked about the class website was that we got to do discussions and communicate with others.
I disliked the class website saying it is better viewed with Mozilla Firefox.I do not view it with Mozilla Firefox
and I feel like I am missing some information.All the information that was put on the class website was helpful to
me.The activities I liked the most was discussing about Number The Stars.I liked all the activities on the class website.
To improve the class website you could add reminders for important events and important information throughout the year.

What I liked about the class website is you can have group disscusions and hear other people’s thoughts. I mostly enjoyed was Number the Stars because you get to predict what will happen next in the story, and you can find out who is wrong or right. What I think is helpful is you can see everybodies comments and thoughts on the disscusions. I honestly don’t think you need to improve the website.

What I like most about our class website is we got to comment on other people’s thoughts and say what was on our mind. What helped me the most is to see all the different comments we wrote, and then we could read the comments and see if we agree with the person. The activity that I enjoyed the most is Number the Stars because we got to predict and discuss what we thought about the book. Something Mr.Moss should add to the website is to remind kids for certain events.

I like the class website because it is cool how we can respond to other people without being in the same room as them and we get different quetions each time we do it.

I thought everything was good BUT… there needs to be a way to change your comment instead of re-typing it because it can be frustrarting. Other than that i luved this year <3 and the site! The descusions are great!

One of the things I really like about our website is that we can discuss many things with diffrent people and one of the funiest things we did this year is how we discuss about number the stars.;) 🙂

I Like these discussions we have, A LOT!!! This is a good way to interact with each other while we aren’t even at school! You should defiantly continue this.
I dislike the fact on Wheatherbug because if you check in the morning I think its already updated for that day so it could run the class Meteoroligist out of business D:
The thing that helps me most on this website is the part on emailing to you. I have Google Chrome installed on my computer so when I go to the AVon Public Schools homepage and PGS and then the staff, Google Chrome opens and it gives me a page on my gmail. I personally use a mac so I go into my Mail application. But this site lets me email Mr.Moss with the click of a button because it opens the Mail app when I click the link to email you 🙂
My favorite activity on the website was getting the news we got accounts, It connects to everything on the website. Infact, we wouldn’t of been able to be better readers on NTS without this. I think getting an account was great news and that was the news that started the website. So it is defiantly my favorite
My least favorite activity was (I AM BEING 100% HONEST) Really, nothing. I think this year was a blast on this website and no matter what, if it gets hacked, shut down. Find a way to get it back. I think students need this site to achieve more. Everything we’ve done on this site has been fabblehauft!
I think an addition to the site might be some games because I like the idea of those so I give tons of credit to (The anonymous student) Who posted that. I think I’d be pretty neat. Also, remove wheatherbug for reasons I explained earlier. Then, I think you’ve got an extremely amazing site.

I think that maybe a few things can be improved of the class website. For example, Maybe Mr. Moss can put the article saying how to log in somewhere on the main page so that whatever time of year, we would be able to see the instructions without having to back back to the previous pages and have to search through the whole thing and have to ind it through the long list. that is pretty much it. i thought I had anothet example but I guess I don’t Yep, thats it.

If you do NTS next year, you should DEFINITELY do the disussion forum!
The only criticism I have is that it doesn’t work properly when you aren’t using Mozilla Firefox, so I suggest that you make it more compatible using other browsers.

I would rather type my homework than write it. I dislike that the website was confusing at first. Being able to read other comments and see what others think. I liked the Number the Stars activities the most because i liked predicting what was going to happen next. The changes Mr.Moss should make are nothing because i think the website was fine.

What I liked about the class website:
I really liked the class discussions because of how you get to talk to students online and communicate to share your ideas about the question. Definitely keep that for next year!!!
What I disliked about the website:
I agree with 15 about the weather bug thing, but that is pretty much it. I like the website how it is, I wouldn’t change it if I were you.
What was helpful:
I think the thing that was most helpful on the class website was either he sidebar not always being there or the class discussions. The sidebar because I think it would annoy me when I am doing things such as reading discussions, and that it was optional all the time. The discussions because I think it was more fun than writing it down at home and then sharing it in class.
Most exciting activities:
I think the most exciting activities were answering the class discussions. I think you should definitely keep them for next year. I loved answering the questions, commenting on people’s responses, and I loved getting to read everyone’s responses besides hearing a couple people read in class.
Least exciting activity:
Okay, I have to admit, nothing. I don’t want to be like that, but I do at the same time because I loved the website I wouldn’t change anything. I am 100% not kidding, I really don’t have a least favorite. I mean, it might just be that this website is the best class website, I don’t have a least favorite thing.
Changes:
Remember when I said don’t change anything? Well, I am tweaking that here. I would maybe do the commenting thing on the forums, I don’t know I just think for me it would be easier to understand. Like, NTS was a topic, you should add maybe a homework topic and post all homework questions on it. I don’t know.
Additions:
Above. I think that you should TRY to put the homework topic on the forums, and put a forum button on the sidebar. I think that would be very helpful (well to me I don’t know about the other people), but yes it would be cool.

I think that the online homework was really helpful and fun to be able to talk with your classmates online about school things! This will definatly help the futer grade 4 students because they will be more interested in homework instead of being forced to do it.
